Made from a blend of food waste and wood chips, this compost reaches high temperatures that eliminate weed seeds and pathogens, then cures for 4–8 months before a final screening.
 
While lower in active biology than our vermicompost, our thermal compost provides steady nutrients and organic matter to improve soil structure and fertility. Directions for Use
Mix compost into the top 2-6 inches of soil, or apply as a top dress around plants. For best results, cover with a light layer of straw or woodchips to retain moisture and build soil. For new gardens or depleted soil, use 1 cubic foot of compost per 3 square feet of growing area. For seasonal maintenance of existing gardens, use 1 cubic foot of compost per 10-20 square feet of growing area.
