Creating a Sustainable Future
Partridge Creek Compost is a nonprofit which aims to reduce food waste going to the landfill, improve soil health in our county, and educate our community about the environmental and social benefits of composting. From curbside compost collections to creating a high quality finished compost product, we’re here to change the course of food waste diversion for our region.
Originally stemming from Partridge Creek Farm, Partridge Creek Compost established itself as a separate non-profit in 2023. While our missions differ in scope, both organizations share a commitment to environmental stewardship, community engagement and dedication to a robust interconnected local food system.
We're currently offering curbside compost collections in
Marquette, Trowbridge Park, Harvey, Negaunee, and Ishpeming.
