Rare Earth Goods
A mainstay of downtown Ishpeming, Rare Earth Goods and Cafe offers health-food products, eclectic clothing, screen printed goods, art from local producers, as well as many other unique and interesting products. In back, there is a cafe offering breakfast, soups, sandwiches, deserts, and beverages with a focus on local suppliers. Another great part of our local food system!
Lakeshore Depot
One of our Local Food Heroes!
Lakeshore Depot is a Marquette-based hybrid grocery store and farmers market offering local, organic produce from Michigan and the Mid-West. Lakeshore Depot makes every effort to support farmers and local producers. They have an excellent selection of local goods, fantastic customer service, and fair prices. If you are looking for compost here, take an extra moment to stock up on fresh produce and locally made goods.
Northern Hydroponics
Northern Hydroponics, located in Marquette, MI, is currently closed for building repairs. When they re-open, you will be able to find our bagged products at their location.

We are a sister non-profit to Partridge Creek Farm. Our excess revenue is donated directly to PCF to empower their environmental and educational missions. We work closely with them, but we are now separate entities. To visit their website, please click the button below.

OUR STORY
The Partridge Creek Family is Growing!
In March, 2023, Partridge Creek Compost separated from its now sister company, Partridge Creek Farm. We are excited and honored to work alongside the Farm as we expand our capacity for waste diversion to include all of Marquette County. It is our mission to reduce food waste going to landfill, improve soil health in our region, and provide on-going funding for the beautiful work being done by Partridge Creek Farm.
We are here for YOU! Partridge Creek Compost views itself as a central piece of the Upper Peninsula's rapidly growing, interconnected local food economy.
